My Approach
Losing someone we love can feel overwhelming, and every family experiences grief in their own way. My role as a celebrant is to gently guide you through creating a ceremony that feels meaningful, respectful, and true to the person you are remembering.I take time to listen to your stories, memories, and the little details that made your loved one unique. From these conversations, I carefully write a personalised ceremony that reflects their life, values, and the connections they shared with others.On the day of the service, my role is to hold the space with warmth and calm, helping family and friends come together to honour a life and say goodbye in a way that feels genuine and heartfelt.

About Jasmine
My name is Jasmine, and I am an independent funeral celebrant based on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.For many years I have worked in the performing arts as a singer, presenter, and event host. This experience has given me a natural ability to speak with warmth and confidence in front of groups, and to guide gatherings in a way that feels calm, respectful, and well-held.Becoming a funeral celebrant is deeply personal for me. After recently losing my father to cancer, I experienced first-hand how important it is to create a farewell that truly reflects the life of the person we love. That experience inspired me to support other families during such a difficult time.It is a privilege to help create ceremonies that honour each person’s story with dignity, care, and authenticity.

How it works
During such a difficult time, many families are unsure where to begin. My role is to gently guide you through the process of creating a ceremony that truly honours the life of your loved one.We begin with a conversation, either by phone or in person, where you can share stories, memories, and the qualities that made your loved one special. This helps me understand the life we are celebrating and the tone you would like for the ceremony.From our conversation, I carefully write a personalised ceremony that reflects their life, values, and the relationships they shared. I can also create a photo tribute slideshow if your family would like to include a visual reflection of their life during the service.On the day of the ceremony, I lead the service with warmth and calm, helping guide family and friends through a meaningful and respectful farewell.
